DARTZ, Latvian automaker known for making outstanding personalized armored cars is making Dartz Prombron 'Black Dragon' armored SUV, a special version only meant for Chinese market, to celebrate the 2012 Chinese Year of Dragon that symbolizes year of power, passion, ambition, prosperity and good fortune. The Black Dragaon comes with Dragon motifs, made from diamonds, rubies and gold. The car will be bullet proof, 7cm full body armor, weighing just under 4 tonnes. Only 12 models are scheduled for production with a price tag of $ 7.93 million dollars.! The car would have Phillips 42" LCD monitor, electrochromic glass, satellite T.V., mobile WiFi and piano black flooring. Fenders are finished in silver. It comes with extravagant wheels with inlaid gold machine-gun bullets and dragon designs. Chassis and powertrain comes from GM, with a choice of either a diesel or gasoline V8. The Black Dragon will be featured in Beijing Auto Show 2012 that will place from April 23 to May 2, 2012. Until then, we'll have to satisfy with artist's impression of the vehicle.
